HERDSMAN/ COW PERSON

Hiring a Herdsman for a 2200 cow dairy near Jefferson, WI. Day shifts! $14.00/hour. This full-time, permanent and direct-hire position will include typical Herdsman duties including:

Assist with cow health, particularly reproduction and breeding.

Breed animals, assist with recordkeeping, administer vaccines, and other herd health duties.

May assist vet during herd checks.

Will report to owners and work alongside other herdsmen.

Previous herdsman experience is required. Must be able to complete and have experience with the previously listed duties, as well as a basic knowledge of farm equipment, technology, software, and general cow health.
