Hardwood Flooring Technician

KIEL, WI

Individual will be working with a team to install hardwood floors in new construction, remodels, commercial properties, and refinish existing flooring. Job Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilize power and hand tools to measure, cut, and install materials

  • Safely work with chemicals, stains, and compounds.

  • Operate various sanding machines and equipment.

This position involves very detailed work, and certain characteristics will help the applicant in achieving excellent quality. The ideal candidate will:

  1. Be honest, trustworthy, and pass a background and drug screening

  2. Be able to take direction and work well within a team, but also ability to lead others.

  3. Demonstrate an excellent attendance record

  4. Have the physical ability to spend long periods of time squatting, kneeling, bending, and lifting.

  5. Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.

  6. Have great attention to detail and work to provide excellent quality service.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the flooring or construction industry is preferred but not required. Prefer applicant has a familiarity with basic tools and machinery.

Additional Notes

Company provides overtime pay, a health insurance plan after 90 days, and a pension plan after 2 years. The position includes 45-50 hours per week with some Saturday hours required. Must be able to communicate in English and pass a background check and drug screen. Performance-based raises will be given on the basis of an additional $1.00 per hour every month for the first 3 months.
