Field Crew Description:

Typically field crews of 6-12 people travel to the fields by bus, and work 8-10 hour shifts outdoors. Crews do a variety of jobs: Planting of trees and shrubs with tractor and planting machine. Crews dig trees and shrubs by machine or by hand. Crews also do tree pruning, weeding, and spacing int he field and int he potted holding yards. Other jobs include loading and unloading plants on trucks, trailers and semi's & a complete landscape division. Duties will include but are not limited to: Digging, planting, trimming, shipping, and potting of nursery stock. Starting $8.50/hour, generally 40 hours per week, more or less depending on weather and seasonality. Monday through Friday, some weekends may be required. Starting ASAP through around Nov. 4th.
